What is this thing even about?

For over a year I have followed several blogs that range in topics and themes. Every time I read a new post from any of the blogs I think "Hey! I could totally do this." A few months ago I finally set up a blog and tried to write my first post. It went horribly. 

Today after successfully making it through the second day of the second week of my second year teaching second grade (eh? See what I did there?) I got the sudden urge to just type. Every time I try to write I ask the same question - "What is this thing even going to be about?" 

I've decided that I am not going to over think this process. As I start this new chapter of my life, I feel the need to document important details.

Here's to this new chapter and to whatever this blog turns into.
